The South Bay's oldest nondenominational charismatic church. We have been worshiping at this location since 1955.
Rev. Barry Griffing & wife JoAnne have served as pastors since 1995. Both received degrees from Shiloh Bible College, Oakland CA. Barry is a graduate of UC Berkeley and founder of Zion Song Music and the International Worship Symposium.
"Where God Restores" is our by-word. - Our congregation is diverse, yet similar in that we are all broken people undergoing God's 3-fold restoration process: deliverance, discipline, and dominion.
Celebration - Our 10:30 AM Sunday Worship Celebration includes a mix of classic & contemporary praise music while providing moments for spontaneous prophecy, prayer, testimonies, and ministry through the laying on of hands, followed by a systematic study of God's Word. We celebrate Holy Communion the 1st Sunday of every month.
Family-focused and Children-friendly. - Children (pre-K through 5th grade) worship with the rest of the congregation for the 1st hour. Then they go to Children's Church, where they participate in a multimedia interactive Through the Bible learning experience. Jubilee is also the home of SonRise Preschool and Infant Care and Jubilee Torrance Academy (for homeschoolers).
